The HAPARI Manifesto: Great Swimwear for Every Woman

Happy 2022! With the start of the new year, we thought we’d talk about why we create swimwear and why we do what we do. In short, we believe women should feel beautiful and confident in a swimsuit. We believe all women deserve to love how they feel in a swimsuit.

So we’re calling this “the HAPARI Manifesto” — to create great swimwear for every woman. Read on and learn all about why we’ve been creating the best swimwear brand for women over the last 18 years. And with big plans in store for 2022, we’re just getting started!

Why HAPARI?

We know there are numerous brands and places you could purchase your swimwear. So, why should you choose to buy from us? Well, let’s go back to our beginning. We were founded in 2004 by moms who took issue with what the swimsuit industry was offering. That's when we began our mission to create high-quality swimwear that every woman can feel great in.

We design our swimwear with our customers, YOU, at the forefront of all of our product designs—the mom running after her kids on the beach who wants her swimwear to stay in place, the woman who wants a stylish suit that’s also supportive with full coverage, the woman who has some curves she wants to enhance and some she wants to downplay. We specifically design our swimsuits to include unique product details to meet your needs.

• Full coverage swimwear. Our swimwear is designed to offer full coverage of your chest area and bottom. We know that many women don’t want to feel exposed, uncomfortable, or afraid of falling out of their swimsuits. We specifically design our tops and bottoms to offer full coverage in several on-trend, stylish prints.
• Tummy Tuk swim bottoms and tummy-slimming tops: When it comes to swimwear, so many women have trouble with their midsection. HAPARI's exclusive Tummy Tuk™ bottoms provide extra coverage and support for your waistline. Select tankini styles also offer a tummy-slimming mesh liner to smooth and shape your midsection.
• Flexible options to create the best fit. Most tops in our tankini styles can be worn in three ways: halter-top, criss-cross back, or tank style. You have the option to choose which works best for you.
• Tops and bottoms designed to mix and match. You can match any of our tankini or bikini tops with any of our bottoms, which means that you can design a one-of-a-kind swimsuit that fits your needs. And all our stunning swimwear is made to move. They look great and stay comfortably in place no matter what your activity.
  
• Mastectomy-friendly Swimwear. Nearly all of our bikinis, tankinis and one-piece suits are made with secret pockets sewn into the bust that can be fitted with our Illusions™ silicone inserts (or prostheses) to supplement your curves. This functionality makes almost all of our swimsuits mastectomy-friendly.

We test, test, test our products for the highest quality performance

Did you know we test our products rigorously to ensure high quality performance? Yep, that’s right. We work directly with our factories to ensure our product is just right. We test the linings, the strings, the fabric and mesh, wear-and-tear for durability and washability to ensure the highest quality performance.

We also ensure our sizing is designed to fit true to size. Unlike the majority of the swimwear industry, we don’t design our products on a junior size scale. We design our swimwear for adult women in adult sizing. Radical isn’t it?!

Custom prints exclusively for HAPARI

We also commission renowned artists and designers from around the world to create custom prints and designs for each of our collections. For our latest 2022 collection, we are featuring designs from Spain, Australia and Colombia to create our prints — Vogue, Cheval, and Sur — which feature an array of floral, tropical, and geometric shapes and patterns. This means our prints are exclusive to HAPARI, so you won’t have to worry about looking like everyone else on the beach.

We also have a ‘no questions asked’ return policy. If for some reason your order isn’t just right – and your item is unused, unworn, unwashed and within 30 days of purchase – return it to us with no questions asked. 

2022 Collections and product releases

Now that you know all about why we do what we do, we’re so excited to share with you our big plans for 2022. We plan to release multiple new, limited-quantity collections throughout the year to continually bring you new prints, styles and designs!
