Fabric content and care

80% Nylon, 20% Spandex

Machine or hand wash cold. No bleach. Line dry.

There is no underwire. Support comes from the removable foam cups and the adjustable tank straps. If you need underwire support, this is not the style for you. Bottoms are sold separately, so the price you see is for the top only. It is a swim fabric, so treat it like one. Rinse in cool water after chlorine or salt water, and let sunscreen and self-tanner dry before you put it on. Machine or hand wash cold, no bleach, line dry.

The fabric is independently tested at UPF 50+, which blocks about 98% of UV rays, and it's a little thicker than most swimwear for better support and hold. The colors are rated 5 out of 5 for colorfastness, so with the care above they hold up for years. The one exception is a very heavily chlorinated pool, like some hotel and cruise ship pools.

The Merlot print is a wine and charcoal watercolor floral on an ivory background. If you want something bolder, the same style comes in Sorbet or Amalfi.

Choosing your print

Every slimming tankini in our collection is this same top, in a different print. Same tummy-sculpting mesh liner, same adjustable tank straps, same removable cups, same UPF 50+ fabric. So pick the pattern you love and the fit takes care of itself. Merlot is the soft watercolor one. The print is never stretched to fit a bigger size. Larger sizes are cut from bigger pieces of the same fabric.
