With just a few short weeks of spring left, we’ve compiled a list of fun, family-friendly vacation ideas for summer getaways. Our list of ideas includes national parks, camping, and weekend trips into the city (whichever big city is nearest you!) Check out our list below to start planning your summer trips today!
Camping Exploration
We’re kicking off our vacation idea list with a camping trip to spend some quality time outdoors! If you’re like us, you spend most of the day in the office or at home, so getting to spend an entire trip outside is a real treat. Envision the fresh air, taking family hikes during the day, cooking tin-foil meals and roasting marshmallows, and falling asleep under the stars. Sounds pretty glorious right?
And, besides getting to spend time connecting with nature and exploring the great outdoors, consider making this trip a tech-free zone i.e. no phones, emails, iPads, etc. just you and your family spending quality time together.

Beach Vacation
Option 2 -- take a beach vacation! For most kids, summer correlates with the beach, the lake or the pool so help make these dreams a reality with a water-related vacation! Now this may be easier for the people who live close to a beach, but even if you don’t, see if there’s a lake or a fun water-related spot close to where you live.
The best part about a beach vacation? You can bring along your HAPARI swimsuit -- whether you’re looking to rock a bikini top or like more coverage and the added support of a tankini tops, we have the perfect suit for you. Check out our 2019 Women's Swimwear Paradise Found collection.

National Parks and National Monuments
Did you know there are 61 total national parks and 129 protected national monuments in the United States? With the kids out of school, summer is a great time to see some of the country’s most beautiful parks and monuments.
It also makes for a great educational opportunity as well. Consider having your kids research each national park or national monument on your list of places to visit or have them find out when that specific area was declared protected land. Involving your kids in the process will help them better understand and appreciate the beautiful landmarks they see. Find out what national parks are in your state via this website and check out the national monuments here!

City Weekend
Take a weekend this summer and go explore the big city! If you already live in your state’s largest city, take some time to explore a neighboring one. If you don’t live in the city, a weekend trip seeing the sights and sounds of a big city could be just the adventure your family needs!
Go to an art exhibit or a museum while you’re there, make reservations at a new restaurant you’ve never tried, take the public transportation, etc… there are so many new and exciting things to do in a city!

Road Trip Fun
Last but not least, plan a road trip! While spending hours and hours in a confined space with your whole family may be a disaster waiting to happen, it’s sure to be a a trip that creates memories for years to come.
Perhaps you can take a trip to see relatives or friends that you don’t get to see very often or maybe there’s a vacation spot just a few states a way that’s calling your name, no matter what you want to do a road trip could be a great way to spend time with your family and have a fun vacation as well. Make sure to pack snacks and interesting music/audio books as well!
