Refreshing Detox: Lemon and Lime Green Smoothie

This recipe uses both lemon and lime to create a blend that’s incredibly refreshing. Added fruit like bananas and grapes give this just enough of a sweet flavor to taste great without being too sweet.
Ingredients:
- ¼ lemon, peeled
- ¼ lime, peeled
- 1 small frozen banana, peeled
- ½ cup green grapes
- 1cup fresh curly kale, stems removed
- 4 ounces filtered water
*Blend ingredients until smooth, pour into your favorite glass or tumbler and enjoy!

If you don’t love the taste of green smoothies (let’s be real, some of them do not taste very good), then this is the recipe for you. This recipe is packed with 3 cups of fruit to give this a sweet and easy-to-drink taste.
You can add whatever fruit you like to this recipe but we suggest pineapple, mango, banana and/or apples. These fruits will keep your green smoothie looking nice and green. Feel free to add berry fruits (strawberry, blueberries, raspberries, etc) if you prefer but know it will make your smoothie come out brownish in color -- which may not be as appealing to drink.
Ingredients:
- 2 cups kale and/or spinach
- 2 cups almond milk
- 3 cups ripe or frozen fruit (we suggest pineapple, banana, mango, apples)
*Blend ingredients until smooth, pour into your favorite glass or tumbler and enjoy!

This green smoothie is packed with plant-based protein to help you ward off hunger and stay fuller longer. This is the perfect recipe to drink before or after a workout to give you a boost of naturally-occuring vitamins and minerals to help your body recover more quickly. Ingredients:
- 2 cups almond milk
- 1 banana (ripe or frozen)
- ½ cup mango (ripe or frozen)
- 2 cups spinach Handful of pumpkin seeds Handful of hemp hearts
- ½ avocado
- ½ tablespoon of chia seeds
*Blend ingredients until smooth, pour into your favorite glass or tumbler and enjoy!
