Do-It-Yourself Monogram Wreath for Fall

Decorating for each season can be challenging; often decor is expensive and DIY projects can take a lot of time and effort. For me, it’s easiest if I focus on changing only one decor item each season. I’ve found it’s easiest to switch up the wreath outside my front door. Because the wreath is one of the first things people see when they come to my house, I like to make sure it’s celebrating each season and welcoming to visitors.

MONOGRAM WREATH FOR FALL

Today, we’re featuring a great DIY project perfect for Fall; the Monogram Wreath! It’s a great way to add a splash of fall colors to your home. The best part about the project is that the design of the wreath can easily be converted to fit each season. We also love how easy and this wreath is to make!

SUPPLIES

• 3D Cardboard Letter (the bigger the better)
• Floral Foam Blocks
• Artificial Fall Maple leaves
• Package of Artificial Moss
• Exacto Knife
• Hot Glue
• Hanging Ribbon or Twine

DIRECTIONS

1. Carefully slide the exacto knife along one side of your 3D cardboard letter to remove one the top of your letter. You should now have a letter with 3 sides, but missing a top (think a container without a lid).
2. Measure floral foam to fit snug inside the letter shapes. Cut and hot glue pieces of foam to the bottom of the letter.
3. Hot glue or use pins to place moss and leaves over the letter. Be sure to cover the entire shape.
4. Hot glue ribbon or twine to the back of the letter for hanging purposes. Or for a different look, try making a small hole in the back of the letter in order to hang.

Viola! Beautiful, easy, fall wreath decor. And, you can simply remove the floral foam pieces, add new ones and change up the design to use the same wreath for another season. Try adding flowers for Spring, snowflakes and fake snow for Winter, and brightly colored popsicles for Summer. The great part is you can be really creative with what you add to the floral foam!
