HAPARI Feature: Mastectomy Swimwear

For today’s blog post, we’re featuring one of our product offerings we’re most proud to offer, Mastectomy-Friendly Swimwear. As you may know, our goal at HAPARI is to design swimwear to make all women feel beautiful in their swimsuits. Creating swim pieces that help transform our customers lives is the thing we love most about our job.

Because Mastectomy Swimwear can sometimes be difficult to find, HAPARI is proud to create innovative swimwear designs for women who’ve experienced single-, double-, or partial-mastectomy surgeries.

Mastectomy-Friendly Swimwear

Nearly all HAPARI tankinis and one-pieces (and even most bikinis) are designed with secret pockets sewn discreetly into the lining of bust. These pockets are designed to fit our Illusions™ silicone breast inserts and can also be used for some prostheses. Tops and suits with secret pockets are labeled with a "mastectomy-friendly" tag in the product description.

Illusions Inserts - Full and Half Options

Along with these offerings, our suits can fit two different sizes of inserts. Sizing options allow you to customize your Illusions™ to get the perfect fit for your specific needs and body type.

HAPARI's Full Illusions are full-size silicone breast inserts designed to be tucked into the secret pockets or our mastectomy-friendly swimwear. Full Illusions are the equivalent of adding 1-1/2 to 2 cup sizes. They can be used in chlorinated or salt water and do not absorb or retain water.

Half Illusions are our half-size inserts that can supplement 1/2 cup size. Half Illusions are recommended for women who have undergone a partial mastectomy or lumpectomy. They, too, are safe to wear in chlorinated or salt water and do not absorb or retain water.

Additional Coverage with Rash Guards

HAPARI's line of Rash Guards can provide additional coverage to traditional bathing suit options. With crew necklines and cap-sleeve and long-sleeve options, our Rash Guards can help to cover scar tissue as well as protect you from the elements. HAPARI's Rash Guards are worn over your tankini or bikini top.
