Smoothies are one of our favorite treats at HAPARI; fruit, veggie, ice-cream — we love them all! Despite our affection for all things smoothie-related, some are better for you than others — of course. (Why can’t Oreo smoothies be healthy?!!)
That's where Green Smoothie Recipes come in — probably the healthiest (and surprisingly tasty) smoothie in all the bunch. With so many different recipes, there’s a green smoothie you’re sure to love. And, if you’ve never tried a ‘green’ smoothie before, think of it this way: in one smoothie you can get all the veggies and fruit you need for the entire day! That’s healthy and tasty.

Avocado Smoothie
It’s a misconception that all fats are bad. In fact, your body needs healthy fats like those found in avocados. The avocado is one of the single most healthy vegetables you can eat as it’s packed with nutrients and healthy fats. If you’re looking to add avocados to your diet, try this delicious avocado smoothie.
Ingredients
- 1 banana
- ½ avocado
- ½ cup apple juice (make sure it’s all-natural and not filled with artificial sugars)
- a touch of honey or agave
- 1 tbs chia seeds
Blend ingredients fully until liquid consistency is achieved. Optional: add ice cubes for a chilled and thicker smoothie.

Fruit-Infused Green Smoothie
Looking for a green smoothie that’s more fruit based? Then try one of many fruit-infused smoothie recipes like this one! Because fruit-based smoothies tend to be sweeter, it’s a popular recipe at my house. The kids even like it (and that’s saying something!).
Ingredients
- 1 apple
- 1 cup of berries
- 1 orange
- 2 cups of kale
- 2 cups coconut milk
Mix it, mix it, mix it! Feel free to add extras like protein powder, chia seeds or a touch of honey to find the perfect taste for you.
