Today, we’re sharing a list of our favorite beauty products on the market. Through years of trial and error, as I’m sure most of you ladies have been through, we’ve found the best-of-the-best when it comes to beauty; products that actually do what they’re intended to and live up to the hype. And, because we know what a pain it can be to find the perfect beauty products, we hope in a small way, this list makes your life easier. Read on and discover our tips and tricks for managing the beauty aisle.
1. St. Ives Timeless Skin Collagen Elastin Moisturizer - $5.29
This is a product too good not to share; in fact, it’s my all-time favorite beauty product! Moisturizer is something I advocate using on your face daily to combat aging like lines and wrinkles, and to prevent dry cracking skin (especially prone during the summer months).
So, what’s so great about St. Ives? Besides the fact a 10 oz. jar is just $5.39, it has collagen elastin proteins, like Safflower Seed Oil, in it that nourish the skin and encourage youthful cell regeneration. I use this moisturizer on my face daily, and can’t recommend it highly enough!
2. L’Oreal Voluminous Original Mascara - $7.99
Ok ladies, like most of you, I’ve tried a million different mascaras over the years. I know how incredibly difficult and frustrating it can be to search for the perfect mascara. Alas, through trial and error, I’ve found the perfect mascara - L’Oreal Voluminous Original Mascara. Seriously, even higher end mascaras didn’t hold up to this one. Now, I do think it depends on the hair texture you have because that can determine how your eyelashes respond to certain mascaras. I have thick wavy hair, so the thing I love about this mascara is it doesn't weigh lashes down.
3. Burt’s Bees Hydrating Lip Balm with Coconut & Pear - $3.30
Refreshing and hydrating for blistering summer days, freezing winter nights and everything in-between. This is my go-to chapstick for daily use. It leaves lips soft, smooth, and buttery feeling. With clear application, it’s great to wear by itself or under/over lipsticks and glosses.
4. Bumble and Bumble Surf Spray - $26.00
Tried and true, Bumble and Bumble’s infamous Surf Spray is a must have for summer locks. While the price is a bit high (at least for what I like to pay for beauty products), the spray is definitely worth the cost. The spray formula adds texture to hair to create loose, wind-blown waves and volume in hair. The best part about it? Simply spray it in and you’re done!
5. Wet N’ Wild Megalast Lip Stick - $1.99
Talk about a killer deal, these lipsticks are so cheap you might be afraid that they’re poor quality. However, I can’t tell you how much I love these lip sticks. I have four or five different shades and they all go on creamy, smooth and last for hours. The lipsticks themselves last pretty long too. I’ve had mine for a few months now. At this price, you might as well try them. If you love them like me, you’ll find a new favorite lipstick for $2. Can’t beat it!
That’s our list! Do you see any products you might try? Or have a beauty product you’d like to share with us? We love hearing feedback and comments from you!
