Rotting Worm Spaghetti

Rotting Worm Spaghetti

This aptly named Halloween dish may just make you lose your appetite. Enjoy this rotting worm spaghetti with red blood sauce, and you’re sure to gross-out at least one of your Halloween guests. But, don’t fear, this dish is completely harmless and is quite easy to make.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 package of spaghetti noodles
  • 1 can of tomato sauce
  • 1 tube of black food dye

DIRECTIONS

Boil water in a large pot. Add black food dye to water when water is boiling. Turn heat to medium. Add spaghetti noodles. Keep noodles in pan until noodles are thoroughly cooked. Stir occasionally. Drain noodles. Cook spaghetti sauce.

Wormed Jack O’Lanterns Peppers

Wormed Jack O’Lanterns

This creepy take on traditional pumpkins and Jack O’Lanterns is fun, easy, and makes for a great photo opportunity. Have the kiddo’s help ‘carve’ these pumpkin peppers and make it a family affair!

INGREDIENTS

  • Bell peppers
  • Stuffing (ex. spaghetti noodles and meat sauce)

DIRECTIONS

Clean and prep your bell peppers. Carefully cut off the top of the bell pepper, similarly to how you would a traditional pumpkin carving. Scoop out insides. Carve face into bell peppers. Add spaghetti noodles and meat sauce or whatever ‘stuffing’ you prefer.

Bone Shaped Pretzels

Bad to the Bones

These creative and unique Bad to the Bones treats will win you kudos at your next Halloween party. Made from simple ingredients, these bone treats are a tasty and delicious dessert option!

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 bag of pretzels (shaped in sticks)
  • 1 bag of mini marshmallows
  • 1 tub of white chocolate

DIRECTIONS

Take pretzel and add two mini marshmallows to each end. Repeat until you’ve used all of the pretzels and marshmallows. Heat white chocolate in a microwaveable safe bowl. Make sure not to overheat the chocolate. Dip pretzel and marshmallow sticks into white chocolate. Place on a cooking sheet to dry. Repeat until all pretzel and marshmallow sticks are covered in chocolate. Let cool.

These Chopped Finger Bites are as tasty as they are scary! And, they make the perfect finger food (sorry, couldn’t help it!) Made from Pillsbury Crescent rolls and almond slivers, they’re delicious and easy to make.

INGREDIENTS

DIRECTIONS

Open Pillsbury Crescent Roll Dough. Combine and roll into one large dough ball, making sure to use plenty of flour to prevent sticking. Take pieces of dough and roll into long finger-shaped strips. Add dough to the nail and knuckle areas. Place almond sliver where nail should be. Place finger on a cookie sheet. Repeat until you’ve used all of the dough. Cook for 10-15 minutes (or until golden brown) at 375 degrees.

Try these cake-pop inspired Forked Eye Balls! They’re sure to be a hit at your next party - both adults and kids will love them. For some fun, try letting your kids decorate some of the ‘eyeballs.’ Read on to find out how to quickly make these for your next soiree.

INGREDIENTS

  • Donut holes (grab some from your grocer’s bakery section)
  • White frosting
  • Chocolate chips
  • Red icing
  • Forks

DIRECTIONS

Frost the donut holes with white frosting. Add red lines and icing to resemble veins in the eye. Add chocolate chips to the center of the eye to resemble the pupil. Let dry on a baking sheet. Once dry add forks. Done!
